Well it is that time again boys and girls! Put away the lawn cars, cry baby dolls and shut off the cheesy Do-whop music because it is time to get out and drive them.

In 2014 we had 17 hardy participants take on the 103 mile tour of the some of the prettiest North valley- foothills back roads and it was a treat.

This year we have a new route that is approximately 103 miles however it still being fine tuned but it promises to be more scenic than last year. So not give too much away but it includes the world famous Superstition Mountains and will end up in Historic Superior Arizona ( Where the movie U Turn was filmed with Sean Penn) at Porters Bar Grill.

Once again this is FREE run but if you want T-shirts that will feature Jeff Norwell art they will be $20 .

Anything pre-64 is welcome so we are consistent with HAMB friendly only cars, so no muscle cars.

We have an official starting point at 20635 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 in the parking lot of Dolphin Pools just north of the loop 101 on Cave Creek Rd. for registration and T-shirts from 9am-10am on Saturday morning April 25th.

Our final stop is Porters Cafe in Superior, Arizona http://www.yelp.com/biz/porters-cafe-superior where we have reservations for the afternoon of April 25th on the Patio. I recommend Porter's Green Chili burger and homemade fries it is the best!

    Here is the route:

  9. To help Doug know how many T-shirts to order, if you are planning on attending and getting the T-shirt, feel free to paypal your $25 to [email protected] and include Phoenix HRH and what size T-shirt you are want in the note section.

Wish I could make the trip out to Phoenix!

Guys, thanks for the positive response................since the final route is still being fined tuned we have not selected a starting point yet.

Me and Chip (Mr. Louvers) are going to pre-run the entire route before making it final.

  22. Bonsey did you buy that 3 window in your avatar? If you did I am super jealous. That car is my favorite 3 window of all time.

  30. We placed the t-shirt order yesterday. The @Jeff Norwell art renderings looked way cool. Hopefully after the SWMO run, on April 4, we can post a photo of the t-shirt design so we can know how many to ship over to Doug.
