Martin - I had a bit of deja vu upon seeing your avatar. It suddenly dawned on me that I had seen your car and photographed it at GNRS, so here it is. Please let me know if you think I should adjust the color more. You did an amazing job on those one off wheels and the car as a whole.

Dan, thanks very much for the picture. I think that the saturation is cranked up a little too high, though; here's the car in daylight:

50Fraud, I did make a new version of it which has now replaced the oversaturated one. Your car as photographed above is in pretty gray looking light which makes it look less saturated to some degree as well. The light inside the building is warm and more yellow toned which will definitely have an effect on how car like yours will look. Interestingly, it looks like two different paint finishes. Your outdoor picture looks like normal paint whereas the indoor one looks like it is satin or something.

Thanks, Dan, the newer picture is closer to what the car actually looks like. It is actually red oxide epoxy primer, but it did turn out unexpectedly glossy.

wrayeugene49- I wish I were there for setup day too, and that I could get in. 50Fraud - I will try to get something better the next time I see it. It is pretty tricky getting it exactly right in weird indoor light when I am rushing through trying to get as many cars as possible before it gets real crowded.

  16. So, that's what a 100 year old hot rod looks like. Pretty damn nice I'd say! Great work, as usual, Dan.

    You're welcome and thanks engine138.

My single favorite spot in the wholes show, year after year, is the intersection where there is always a Richard Zochi custom across from a John D'Agostino custom. Here is John's 68 Riv called the Pantheon.

This was certainly a crazy one. Pardon the snapshot of the back - I wasn't able to get a good shot from that direction, but I wanted to show you all the extensive modifications of the roof and rear end.
