Not a bad idea, I was tossing around the idea of getting the glove box door pinstriped by a buddy of mine that is pretty good at laying down lines. He's been bugging me for a while about striping something of mine

Got it running again today, still got a few small things to button up on it before it gets back on the road.

Went ahead and freshened up the seat today

I dunno. With the old dash if you squinted you could have pretended you were Inspector Steve Keller after some bad guys.

Got a little time out in the shop today. Made and installed some kick panels and put the seat back in and put a few miles on her. Still a few more things to finish but glad to be driving it again

Decided the truck needed a little rake to it, so I dropped the front about 1.5"

    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1423598877.302040.jpg

Made a big difference in the overall stance of the truck

Thanks, the redlines are growing on me, at first I was thinking of switching out to skinny whites or blackwalls. But I think I'm going to run them for now

Been a busy week but finally got to finish up the drivers door to match, also lucked out and found a set of white lower steel panels for the doors. the originals had a hole cut in them for speakers. Was going to patch them but when I came across these I couldn't say no.

Finally found time to finish painting the glove box door. Dropped it off for some pinstripes this evening, hopefully get it back in a couple days

Nice truck! I like the dash and wheel/tire combo. You should be very proud.

  29. Kiwijeff beat me to it. That dash is killer, but it needs a pinstripe around the painted panels to make it really pop. Absolutely love the rest of the upgrades to this truck. Much nicer than when you started.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.

Jalopy, the truck has a torino sub frame so I just cut half a coil off, the back has an axle flip on it

37hotrod, I still like that idea about the stripe around the panels. but its on the back burner for now.
