Actively looking for more Silver Bullet stories, photos, trivia or anything else pertinent
to the golden era of Detroit area street racing, participants and factory involvement in
    racing, on the street......or not.

At the very least I should have some more pics, stories and info this summer after we
share our Mopar Nationals tent with The Silver Bullet, Tom Hoover's "Terror of I-696"
'66 Hemi Coronet and Greg Charney's 10 second '68 Dart. Probably all will be at the
Chrysler display at the Woodward Dream Cruise as well.

Man what a cool thread. I love reading stories on old street racers, and how awesome racing must have been back in the 70s and 80s. I wish I would've been born in a time that allowed me to grow up during that era.

Wow! What a sweet Camaro! if you're from Toledo you probably recognize a lot of the
places talked about here as well as Milan Dragway. In fact, my brother pictured above
lives in BG, The Tom Hoover '66 Coronet is in Sylvania and the guy that Jimmy Addison
came down to race in the "My Silver Bullet Story" lives out by the airport.

Thanks man I appreciate it! I do race at Milan Dragway, but at my age (24) I missed out on a lot of good times, so I don't recognize a lot of names or cars from "back in the good days" of Toledo/Detroit street racing. But I can tell you I love the cars of that era. I've tried keeping my Camaro looking as "period correct" as possible, with an un painted hood, old school Cragar Super Tricks, and an old "over the tires" stance versus the preferred slammed tucked tire look of todays big tire cars.
