I am thinking of trying a gauge swap into a 48 Ford dash...but I need a couple measurements. Can someone help me please? I need the outer mounting ring diameter and the actual clock diameter from a 1952 Pontiac. (to see if I can swap in some late model speedo guts to match the clock.) If anyone knows of a GM speedo that matches the clock, that would helpful too.

The speaker grille is roughly 8" in diameter outside to outside and the clock looked to be 3 3/8" outside to outside.

I took those measurements from my car, I think I've got one that's out of a car somewhere and could possibly get more precise measurements if no one else posts them.

Thanks. It seemed like a good idea, but I need to be closer to 5-1/2". Maybe I'll look into casting up something similar.

Someone else wrote and told me it was 6" for the single outside ring on the 1952 part...hmmm, might work after all. Now I need to 1948 ford dash bezel measurement.
