Anyone have a great pic, or idea of a good custom rear bumper for a 1950 super? The original bumper has too many bends in the middle when the bumper guards are removed. I was looking for a bumper that is all smooth in the vender. Keep in mind the 1950 is curvier than late 50's cars, and pretty wide!

    "Smooth in the center"

  3. 1950 Olds 98 might work. It has ends kind of shaped like the Buick but is a little thinner top to bottom in the center and is pretty smooth.

The Cadillac bumper does look better in the center than my stock Buick one. It bulges out under the taillights, but could modify my 1/4s to fit

Similar idea to 'Mo's ... you could take a tip from the Blue Danube Buick and use a '53 Olds rear bumper.

I'm using one from a 1954 olds 88, it hugs my corners nicely. And I can get rid of the spacer for a cleaner look.
