Has any body here put a 70s power steering box on a 55 Special ? Any info or pics appreciated. Thanks
Why do you want to mess with swapping out the box? If I recall I've read an article or two about it over on AACA but it's a bit of a task, especially with the engine in. These cars were built in an era when people took their time to do things, including turning the steering wheel! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Yeah yeah, I know,my mother drove a 55 special without power steering, but then I once saw her break up a fight between two teenagers, she gave the bigger one an airplane ride he'll never forget. [ it ended in a one point landing on a gravel parking lot] but that was back when people were people.
