ME!!!! and most of my HEAPS club buddies.

Flying in Thursday and staying until Sunday morning.

 

too far. went to every one starting about 1975 until they moved.

 

I'm there Saturday and Sunday for the drive in.

Father and I are headed out on Friday morning. This will be my first time attending. What is the "drive in?"

 

I'll be there Friday and Saturday, might make it to some local shops on Thursday.

 

The "drive in" is you can take your old car just for the day and park outside, around the show buildings. I think I paid $60 for Saturday. This covers the car, driver, and 1 passenger. If you add up parking fees (and inconvenience), standing in line to pay (2 people get in for this price), then pay, carry your jacket around all day when it warms up, and carry anything you buy there all day.....plus we bring chairs, snacks and drinks (that alone might save in excess of $30) it's not all that expensive. We usually kick back at the cars for a few minutes in between walking each building. Oh, and we can check out all the other drive in cars in the staging area, before getting let in an hour before the public

Three days including the Drive In .

 

I'll be there all three days. Can't wait to see the latest contenders and the collection of 1940 Fords! TEB

 

I´ll be there , first time for me .
The Coupé will be in the main building.

 

I will be there and pick some parts from Hotrodmaker.

 

I'll be there fri-sun. Is there going to be HAMB meet & greet?

 

I'll be there on Saturday helping to park the Drive In cars with my car club.

 

Used to drive down.....sometimes stopped at Turlock ( I guess that's when it was at Oakland). Miss that! We're getting old.... going to fly this year. $240 round trip.....2&1/2 hours. We'll be way fresher to look at all the '40's.

 

Forecast is for sunny skies and 70 degrees ....

 

We will be there all weekend! Can't wait.
