Super chevy mag has a photo of a green fastback chevy II doing a burnout at super chevy show bristel ? is it real or a clone like the one I am building ?
I had no idea that these exsisted. There was a fast back style Nova at the Grand in Pigeon forge when I was there last April or Septmember. I cant remember which. I thought to myself, why would anyone ruin a nice car like that. I had no idea of the history behind them. It was prob a clone or something. Did anyone else on here see it?
This one? CLONE!!! But I believe that Fiberglass Trends sold the roof separately until 1969, so there could be some roofs out there somewhere.
Yep, Fiberglass Trends did sell a fastback roof for Chevy IIs. There was an old project car with one at Carlisle swap meet a few years back. The roof had studs in it that came down through the top of the quarter panels. Smokey
I did look at it for a minute, but I cant remember the color. I was looking at the engine tucked under the cowl, and was looking in the rear window area. I thought someone home made it, and didnt like it. Now that I realize it had a history, it prob was a cool car to see. Was the one in your pic on display in the show at the Grand Hotel?
The fastback nova at super chevy in bristol is my car I built it to do a little drag racing its not perfect . but I have never seen one in person so i did the best I could going by pictures if you have any questions just ask I will try to answer.
I had a chance to look at the Twisted II at the Grand in Pigeon Forge earlier this month. That is a great looking car. I wouldve liked to have heard the engine run. I will try to post some pics i took of it.
Here is a few more. Does anyone have some close up shots of the engine and front frame? my camera did a poor job.
Novaman, I am impressed, it looks great........... espailly when you had no build sheet, just pictures.......very impressive
