Airbags man, get that thing on the ground like the hammett '36 that cole did and that thing will look totally different. Its all about changing the way the car is viewed and the stance!
So Kool, that it is 'COLD BLOODED'. The headlights look like they belong, anxious to see more . You done good!
AIRBAGS? Not a chance in hell I hope!!! That car is the real deal when it come to right. Air bags just do not belong on some things...actually most things, this for sure is one of them. This car looks great as it is. Cannot wait to see it finished. Come on cheaterjack...cheaterchris....whoever it is have some pics!!! PLEASE.
Here are some updated pics. Paint but dusty, Chrome dash and a few others from the shop where Carl and Chris call home. One other of a secret gauge panel for the 32 in the shop... guess what it is from... Enjoy... Jack
The front will come down a couple of inches...The rear is set. I dont want it too low. The color is Mack truck green. Maybe interior in April or May..I just have to come up with the coin first. The rear bumper is done and the tailight are almost finnished...maybe a tech post on how I amazed myself on making my own. Thanks for the kind words, Alot of work to be done, but its comming along. I wish money grew on trees, and I didnt buy some many BMX bikes!! later Chris
sorry about this Cheater Carl was very instrumental along the way, sometimes I leave out who is most important in the build.... I just need more sleep since I am back to work and complain too much, later
There is no doubt in my mind that in the picture of Chris on the phone he is either buying a bmx bike or talking to '5 sugar Singsime'
I believe the dash (the chrome one in the pic) is from another Caddy, I forgot the year, the steering wheel & dash being used in Chris's Lasalle came from the same "doner" car. The gauge cluster is from a 1932 Chrysler product. That is going in the 32 Ford Roadster, which is pretty cool, it's a real Henry steel car. The folded up ping pong table is also an original! Sincerely, Cheatercarl
Great job on all the custom work!!! It all came together very well. Some people still don't get the message that customs are an individuals expression of taste. Please keep post updated!! COUVY
