ordering chrome reverce wheels for 57 chevy.with a disc brake kit on it. has any one done this ,and now what i need to tell them for the back spacing . i want 14 inch and i did not think it would be a big deal since 1970 chevelles had disc brakes and had 14 inch wheels.
Have you got an OEM rim that clears the caliper? I know some 2nd Gen Camaro rallys and regular wheels were 14" so clearance with that style of wheel shouldn't be an issue?
if 14 rim from the chevelle work, 1957 car has 14in, too off set different, if a 14 from chevelle work order a that set
I remember being advised that many 14 wheels would not work with the standard 11" disc conversion on our cars. I went with the Super Bell conversion which was 10.5" and Ok. It really depends on what rim that they use for their chrome offering. See if they will tell you that info.
