This Hudson is alive and well and was at the Dover Dragstrip Reunion in 2014, it is being restored and will be out for the 2015 season. Ran at Dover back in the day. Copied pictures from the Dover site. Pat
Another one of Ronnie's first Wildfire car from his personal scrapbook. Notice who's already on the move on the last yellow. Verne
FYI: A 'few' of the early Olds racers ... I loved the term one car-mag (CC or SSDI) scribe coined way back then. He called them "The Junk Yards for Lunch Bunch."! You made my day with this post. It was summer of 68 I worked at a gas station in Sylvania the bell rings somebodys at the pumps. It was a black race car sitting 10 foot high on the back of a flat bed truck. I couldent get out to the pumps fast enough. It was Ehrsam's Commander. One of the guys that worked in the garage walked out he went to school with Bill. They talked and I was going nut over the car and haller sitting at the pumps. Those days you never forget. Ron
thanks great shot. looks like it was left pretty intact when "stored". Please keep the pics coming of underhood and interior from the cars at the York meet.
Tommy D, your collection of photos is fantastic, thanks for sharing all of them. The other photos are cool too. Tommy, you have quite a selection!! For those watching the York Musclecar Maddness 2015 countdown, today is January 10th. York is July 10th which , not being a math wizard , tells me we have 6 months exactly to be prepped and at York and in the halls. I know there are plenty of builds in progress and some updating being done , including my own Delivery. We still have 6 months to drag stuff out of mothballs and get it ready. If you're on the fence about whether your car belongs or " is good enough", it is. Send your entry forms to Darwin Doll and get on the program list. It's important . For all of us. Time just keeps ticking by so next year might not be good enough. That's enough of the lesson for today!! Thanks guys. Tommy, thanks again for the awesome shots...... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Glad you like them. I just save them from facebook or anything that pops up. We just like the same stuff and I think many just zip right on by these while looking at old T/F pics.
