You could run FX or Altered...I would leave it up to you...there are a few full bodied cars in Altered too.

Super low pressure event...the biggest problem people have is...figuring out how to get back the next year.

We named it Wheat Missile for that reason..

I had an older yuppy look'n chick come up to it at the HAMB drags and ask me what a meat-whistle was.

The announcer called it meat whistle mistakenly once too.. It was glorious.

  19. That's an awesome smoker. How are they doing it? Is it the tires or the untreated track?

Rocky's coming back...so is the California Piston Pusher - Ric Paddington (bear), more cars being funnelled into the F/X lanes, Gasser shootouts ... ??

It's official. The Scout's going into the car show and I'm parking my fat butt in the bleachers with a lunch bag of sandwiches and a cooler of my favorite adult beverage just to watch the show...

    And it's only January kids

  24. Ric:
You need to get out of the sun. Rocky's car ain't runnin no '92... hes got a pair a smell block chubbys in it... You need to get into some shade and re-hydrate...

    LOL

Yeah, today it's warmed up to 1.8 degF here.

  25. Yes, it sure is!

    Untreated track.

Rocky had a tough time at Byron with its really good bite. Maybe he's got some tricks up his sleeve for 2015...

Ya I know he does, I was just sanding Tony's sack with some 80 grit to say good morning. ;)

Thank You Dog_Patch! The video taken at Billetproof was the first pass using Nitrous right at the "HIT", if you listen you can hear me let off (the NOS) about 60' and use it again at about 300'. We had the NOS at Byron last year and used it for the first time there, but only down course. With the TWIN weighing in at over 1800 lb it needs it's inhaler :D right away LOL. Washington is an asphalt track that uses VHT......nothing like BYRON's bite, but what we've found is that the HURST tires bite better in the street than on a well prep track....the tires spin with very little smoke on a prepped surface.....that's why we started pulling off the groove at Byron. 10578696_863784710299924_322354309_o.jpg
Using NOS about 60' out VS...............

Toymaker that's awesome that your going to make it back again this year. Although unless your an exception they made a change in the rules this year , from MD's website...
NO….NITROUS OXIDE – bottle NOT ALLOWED TO BE IN CAR, if your caught using it. Your on your way home!
