I do not have the production numbers in front of me for every year. In 1928 there were 5 prototypes made. In 1929 Ford made slightly less than 7300. In 30 and 31 production was still less than 10,000 a year. I would guesse that production in 32 would have still been less than 12,000. Rod

Here is a new one that will be displayed at the GNRS in January. George built a sure winner with his build. A sedan conversion by Jim Hendricks – which is perfect. General Tire Company sales rep delivery, Flathead, 5-speed, Winters QC and General Jumbo wheels.

Bob's delivery is definitely not glass although I believe it is a conversion into a very nice car. It has lots of interesting features that make it really standout. He did install a 265 using 32 style front mounts into the original drive line to make it more drivable. To the unknowing it is exactly like an original. Bob has only the best.

Re : he Firestone and General Tire deliveries above. The front wheels in the General car don't look centered in the fender, while those on the Firestone car do. Is it me, the camera angle or what?

  9. Wish someone would post a photo of Krylon's sedan delivery as you all would love it. It is KILLER COOL

George's delivery is basically a stock chassis with un-split WB and stock placement of axle. Here are some more photos.

Lincoln brakes, stock dropped axle and wishbone make up the front suspension.

Here is George in his garage full of Deuces explaining the chassis to a friend.

Different angle provides a different view of wheel placement.

Side profile shows the placement of the fender and wheel location. I think the large wheels and fat tires make it look different than Bob's.

Here's mine the day I t arrived. It came from Oregon , where it was for many years. If anyone has any history or info on prior owners, I would like to hear from them.

Fordor Ron: Delivery belonged to Steve Hayes from ILL. He sold it and you can see it being chopped on the Salt Flats Speed Shop website.
