tommy used his "one chance to do all the things you want to do" very well; his life is to be envied by people who don't/didn't

After reading this and then his intro, what struck me was this under his name,

    "weekender is offline "

Sad to hear of his passing.
    Prayer for his family.

In the 26 years that I knew Tommy, there was always a smile
on his face and a kind word to say.
I'm really going to miss him.
Gods speed Tommy, your pain is over.

As with most HAMBers, i think a good person, and by that i mean the PERSON, not the sum of what they were into - Rods, Customs, Scooters, 4X4s, hell tuners for that matter... it doesnt matter to a man of that caliber how well they know you, or even that they do.

its the core of the soul that matters.

I can only hope that someday, all of us are half as well missed as he.

Rest well Tommy, We'll see you again at Gods place someday

I hate to hear stuff like this. The Dirty's send their prayers to the family. Tell the son to Hang in there and drive that Henry J like his das has always done. I think he would love that more than anything.

I never had the pleasure of meeting the man, but his final line in his intro does tell all : "Tommy McCray, hot rodder to the end! "

My thoughts are with everyone, friends and family alike.

Thoughts & condolences to his family & friends. I didn't know him, but it is evident from the responses of those who had merely met him that he is a great person who will be sorely missed by the entire rodding community.

    RIP

  21. Oh how sad :( My prayers go out to him and his family. At least he will no longer be in pain.

Me too. I went to Tommys Profile last night and "weekender is offline" was the first thing that caught my eye...

As mentioned previously, the Visitation is Friday and the Funeral Saturday. Timmy has been trying to get the word out to all Tommys buddies in the area in hopes of getting as many Rods as possible to participate in the funeral procession Saturday. The Funeral will be in Columbia, but he is being buried in his hometown of Millersburg which is about 15 miles from the Funeral home. That would be a funeral procession to remember if they can get 20 or 30 Rods to show up.

I went by Tommys house this afternoon and Timmy had the Henry J out of Winter storage getting it ready for the funeral. He said he had it out on the road earlier today and stopped a couple of times to boil the hides off in memory of Tommy...:D

I heard that Steve (Weeds) was going to perform Hearse duty. What is he planning on doing it with? That old Plymouth wagon he's been working on?
