FIRST HEARD OF THE CAR A FEW YEARS AGO, AND NOW THE PERSISTANCE HAS FINALLY PAID OFF. PICKED IT UP THIS AFTERNOON. RUMOR HAS IT, THAT THE CAR WAS RESTORED A GOOD TIME AGO AND THEN DRIVEN INTO A SHED THE SAME SIZE AS THE COUPE, GAS TANK DRAINED, BATTERY REMOVED AND THEN FINISHED BUILDING THE SHED AROUND THE CAR. ONLY ONE MAN SIZE DOOR WAS ON THE FRONT OF THE SHED, SO THE FRONT OF THE SHED HAD TO BE CUT OUT TO GET THE CAR OUT, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT. LOOKS LIKE IT NEEDS THE TOOL TRAY REPAIRED IN THE REAR OF THE TRUNK, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKS PRETTY GOOD FOR SITTING AS LONG AS IT DID. HAVENT TRIED TO FIRE IT YET, BUT IM HOPING IT WILL RUN. NOT SURE OF THE PLANS FOR IT YET, GOT TO MANY OTHER PROJECTS, BUT AFTER CHASING IT FOR YEARS, HAD TO BUY IT. ENJOY THE PICTURES, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!

You are very lucky. I love street rods but I would think long and hard on this one.

Sorry I always seem to end up typing with the caps lock on. Those headlights are made by Arrow. It must have been a sealed beam conversion offered back then. Ive seen electroline ones but never had a set of Arrow ones. Kind of different, not sure if I like them or not. Thanks for all the complements. Merry Christmas.

The 38 standard is one of my favorite body styles.
