are you going to fit the bumper guards to the body? I can't photoshop, but I drew lines on the guards in the attached photo to show what I'm talking about.

Exactly my friend! The first version of the tailgate were not following any form of body. from an idea of Scacco (confirmed by the vote of Hamb friends) was taken the shape of the rear window and with these you created the hood line flowing and harmonious.
