Would be a great start for a 55 dirt track car. It would take less work and still be cool. my cent and 1/2

Chances are that it wouldnt be in a computer data base. That car has been off the books for wayyyyyyy to many years.

I'm not even sure why there was a discussion about bringing it home or not.

Looks about like my gasser style build, and anything I did to it was an improvement to it. Purest still hate what I did to mine but I built a fun car.And it runs low twelves. 59 chevy truck straight axle used glass front end and your off and having fun. Thats what it's all about anyway.yruhot

Yep, I try to encourage most all builds and would like to see the desert 55 hammered out into something like the pics.

  30. For us guys here where rust is problem it could be a builder, find a parts cars, get creative who know could be pulling some gears and be thankful your orignal cost was nothing. Tri Five are getting harder and harder to find. Look at what some of us Willys guys are starting with. I be hauling it home in a heart beat. Free is Free!!!!!!!!! I just had a friend who Payed 5500.00 for a 2dr BelAir Sedan and it needs a floor pan from front to rear in fact he just order a new one and is going to rebuild it.
