I bought this project back in April 2014, 21 years after the PO had bought the original A and started it. After 21 years he decided that he could no longer work on it due to health and other issues. The CL add said "Mostly done, but not quite yet driveable". That actually meant engine is shot ( hydrolocked and broken main bearing, 700R4 transmission unknown state, no wiring done, some of the wood work done ( its a woody), no interior work, etc, etc....
So now, after building a fresh engine - late 80's GM 4.3L V6, transmission serviced, fully wired, added gas tank, etc, etc. It has now been started and moved under its own power. Everything forward of the firewall is done. Interior is next. I'll post some pictures for those interested.

I don't understand the Pinochio nose..... but if you're a happy camper that's all that matters. Nice save on what was a stalled project.

Thanks, I would rather save and take the critique here than see it sit for many more years.... Anyway, it looks good and creates a lot of fun comments alongside my 3 Porsche 928's, 2 of which were saves also. cars.jpg alongside

Maybe, but the 5.0L 32v 4 cam v8 out of th black one would make an interesting swap in with a renegade transmission adapter. :)

I don't know why the PO did that, but i'm not about to change it ! It will be a woody, sort of -based on an AA, this is where he stopped.

I'm curious, where did you get the headers? I have one of those engines sitting around and the area of the exhaust manafolds has made me rethink using it anytime soon.
    Good Luck!
