Just thought I'd show off my latest ride. I picked up a very solid, very original fat-fendered sedan that had been stashed for years here in New Mexico. It's all stock except for tube shocks, old Lebaron-Bonney interior, and a built 327. The wife even likes it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but it needs new tires and is begging for a dropped axle and swaybar; might come in handy if I start running moonshine. I am from Tennessee afterall...I love the simplicity, the curves, and the headroom. First some repairs, tires and then back on the road.
Thanks guys - for what it's worth - born in Memphis, schooled in Knoxville, partied in Nashville. I thought I might go this route with it....naw just messin' with you. I'm open to suggestions, however. I like it pretty much as-is for now anyway, aside from a 75 year old electrical system. And I'm wondering how the stock transmission will hold up behind a torque-y 327. In seach of standard headlights and a radio delete plate.
