History 1932 Ford Booklet - 'A GREAT NEW MOTOR CAR' - Original Scans

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bored&Stroked, Dec 6, 2014.

  1. Hey Gang: A cool friend of mine found a really nice original booklet from 1932 - in really nice shape. He then called me up and let me know that he thought I should have it - as he knew about my 32 Cabriolet (talk about a nice guy!).

Anyway, thought I'd scan all the pages and post them here. I've had to reduce the resolution a bit - as the scanned images were 18 megs each! Anyway, it is a really cool booklet and covers the highlights of the new model, the various models to select from and technical details.

    Enjoy!

  2. Dude, that's awesome ! I want to print it up, and bind it....factory literature describing a Ford '32 "two window".....love it. First time I had seen it referred as such. Officially even !!

Thanks for sharing !! Cool post.

  6. The scans are beautiful. Although it is off topic, what kind of scanner are you using?

  9. Good point - think I'll redo the top-level post with the images rotated! Thanks!

  10. Hey Charlie, this was done with an older HP Officejet 7310, really not a good scanner at all - but flatbed, so I could scan one page at a time at 300 dpi. Does a reasonable job for 'internet quality' images.
