Looking for pictures of 55/56 Ford Sunliner / Convertibles as hot rods or customs. All I seem to be able to find is what looks like restorations.

That's a sweet looking ride. Were there not many made vs the 55/56/57 Chevy or are they just not as sought after and therefore many were scrapped?

 

This one came to mind right away: Viva Las Vegas with E. Presley.


And the one I have always wanted to replicate: From Hot Car Girl.

Seems like a simple wheel change can make a huge difference with these.

 

Did this mild custom back in 2009. Painted it with custom mixed HOK pearls, made to match the original colors.
Tri-Powered Y block.

Cruiser skirts and continental kits are a big no-no for me ...except, I think they work real well on the movie car and look pretty good on that 'vert you did too chopolds.
