Hi there,
I'm here "Down Under" in Aussieland and I can guarantee that the channelled '34 Ford 5 window Coupe is an Australian car and is STILL in the hands of it's original builder/owner since 1967 (when it was first road registered)
The Coupe is now black with a chopped top and mag wheels but otherwise is as it appeared in 1967. I co-wrote a book about our Hot Rod Club with the owner and I'm fairly certain that the photo show on this page at the top is the same one that I placed onto the original Romans Hot Rod Association web site quite a few years ago. The photo was supplied by either the owner of the '34 Coupe or another now deceased Club member. There is no problems with having copied and submitted the photo but I just wanted to set the record straight.
The other cars in the photo belong to 2 other Romans members - the '32 Roadster was owned by the deceased mentioned above and the '28 Ford Touring by another guy who is not in the Rodding scene any more as far as I know.
This is a great thread but when I see Aussie content showing really nice Aussie Hot Rods I just have to tell the truth.
