I've been looking for a while now and I didn't want to break the bank to buy something. 57 GMC short bed (a bit more uncommon than the Chevy), with the typical SBC, Camaro clip for a nice ride/better brakes, chrome bumpers/grill, black plates, and a big selling point for me....a Muncie 4 speed. ( are 2 pics visible?)
I like it. Here is a 'vision' of it's future potential I snapped the pic at LoneStar Roundup this year Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Got my vote & a 4 gear is always a plus in my world. Stance is spot on too. Very nice shop truck ya got there! Early 70s a friend had a 65 C-10 w/Muncie 4sp. That truck was FUN!
Really nice, man. In my book, the '57 GMC has one of the best looking front ends on any truck, ever! Ok, maybe with the exception of the 40/41 Ford truck. In any case, I really dig that front end. Good looking truck!
Love the old GMCs. That outta be a great shop truck / driver. I had a 56 (Chevy) that had the same front clip mod, Bbc/4speed. Probably shoulda kept that one.. Most GMCs years have better looking front ends- especially 57s. What rearend does it have? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
The grille is very cool! Those trucks have a great shape, transitional between fat fendered and the '61-'66
