Ah the sight of progress being made, keep us posted on how you are coming on it. I've always had a soft spot for those ever since my mom and stepfather had a 52 Vic with a 56 Thunderbird special in it when I was about 10 years old.
The shot of it in grey primer brought back great memories for me. Thanks. Back in 1960 an older kid in my neighborhood got his older brothers '53 Vicky while the brother was in the army and we beat the crap out of it and had lots of fun with it until the brother came home. The brother had removed the grille and rolled the edges and installed '55 Merc station wagon taillights upside down and put it in grey primer. It still had the flatty and three on the tree. That car is what made me love the sound of a flatty with glaspacks.
Gotta love it,I have always had a soft spot for the 52-54 Fords, they were ignored for many years by hot rodders and restorers alike but have finally gain their place along side all the other popular makes from the 50's. HRP
My first car was a 53 Vicky in 1959, put lots of miles on it, your car brings back good memories. Rex
