I'm thankful for family and friends and for Ryan's Friday Art Show!

Mark, I really dig the crazy lil' hot rod girl.

This week, one of the first (nice) french custom, made in the early '80's: Fufu's Simca Aronde Grand Large, known as "Lowmlet Baveuz". Fufu drove it at El Mirage in 88. I remember, reading that in Rod & Custom Magazine (the french one), and dreamin'... dreamin'... dreamin'...

 

I always get a kick out of these "Holiday" themed posts. How about some more bird art... and especially in T-Bird?!?!? Gary

Jigger: From the gobbler (w/stuffing), to the "banjo", I be smilin' Also, love the imagination scenes... "If you can dream it, you can do it". Really dig the detail in that garage!

57 Corvette~Bob: Love the way you captured the intensity of these fellas, working in a "Fury" (pun intended) at "Dog Patch"... very cool!

Cruisin': Awesome perspectives and color!

Frogz: Yellow + tint + chopped + lowered + lake pipes + El Mirage = gallons of sweet/cool!

Spoggie: Sweet Cream Machine! The chrome and spokes do me in; love the subtle details

Ryan: I too am thankful for this place... and faith, family and friends... and very cool stuff!

 

What you say, you say well! I've said it before; you are truly an artist with words too, mate!

its only been a few years that ive had some events i've covered on the pages of some magazines here or there . but never has one of my shots made a cover until now !

Lots of fun at dirt tracks this summer this was taken at Circle M a vintage dirt track , no guard rails, no stands.

 

Here my contribution for the week. I can't take credit for the original design. It came from an old magazine. This will just hang on my wall. One Shot on an old fender skirt. . Gary

 

I always enjoy looking over the Friday Art Show, there is so much talent from the members of the HAMB on display.
I have not one artistic bone in my body so I live vicariously through the members who do. I had seen work from rusty1 before and really liked it a lot, so I got in touch with Sam and asked if he would do a custom piece for me. I sent him a pic of our shop and asked if he would do it with a 53 Chevy panel truck that we had as a shop truck in the 70's, he said he would see what he could do. Well I got the drawing on Tuesday and he knocked it out of the park, I love it. Its now hanging above my work bench at the shop. Great work Sam!
