  1. Smart man. GM has an 8.2 "Aurora" race block for Australian Holden 310" V8 Super Cars. I'd love to get my hands on one of those.

  9. Got a little work done on the ford between using up all my argon finish welding up the stub on the "Raped Grape" "Sour Grape" "Grape Soda" or whatever that purple thing is called haha. had to pinch the frame rails in a little on the ol ford the axle is out of a 32 chevy sedan sound familiar on this thread it has made its around the group and I am the one finally using it can't beat the free price tag. It has the perfect track width for my car but the spring location is about 2" to narrow to easily mount it so I just moved them in a little so my new front rails would still go inside the old ones. Should have the axle all mounted in side the next few days then on to remounting the body in the front.

Starting to make some progress on the old 32. Have a frame partially built. I rolled 1 of my W blocks over for a pic just for Kip and Ric. I'm pretty sure Kips got me talked into running a stroked W motor.

I used my lunch for something productive today...I've been looking for a shift knob that had both function and form, I wanted a pistol grip that didn't look like it was from a spaceship or a Chrysler product. I wanted a red flake one, but most of the flake ones are either a ball or way too expensive for a shift knob. I had been looking on ebay and seen some handgrips for a schwinn stingray that were red flake and matched my steering wheel, so I figured the $3.48 was worth a chance.
