Greetings from Long Branch,NJ,Americas first seashore resort and 7 time US summer capital....Our 15th anniversary Fathers Day Cruise to the Jersey Shore car show is set for June 14 '09 at the oceanfront....the beach is right next to the show and while Mom and the kids go swimming or go to the shops you guys can hang at the show....sure could use some more rods and customs to join us for a nice day at the shore....West End Cruise Night 1 in July features the ''Happenings'' and Darlene Love comes on board in August for Cruise Night 2....had an estimated 10,000 people including Michael Strahan with us last August.

  13. Word on the streets is that this car is somewhere on the East Coast (originally a west coast car)

Did that first car pass through Ohio on it's way West? I'd swear I saw it at a kustom show in Ohio in the early 1990s??

(Can't remember the name of the town, but every year they had a really nice pre-1972 show that was mostly lead sleds and mild customs? Canfield? Medina? My parents were always selling at an antique show on the same fairgrounds)

Rich King, would it be possible for me to get the contact info to Gale Black? I saw the car for sale, but could not retrieve the contact info, nor could I send you a PM, so I have to try this way.

    Thanks,
    Bjorn

Bjorn...... Sorry to say that its been about 5 years ago that I spoke with Gale.... Since then a computer crash caused a lot of valuable contacts... Wish I could help..... Let me do a little searching. The car was for sale on Craigslist california....

Thanks Rags. I would really appriciate it. I've tried to search the internet for contact info, but I haven't succed. It's a really cool kustom, so it would be an honor to get it on the road again, and into the show circuits again.

It's a beauty, Rich. It has neat lines, and the 58 chevy rear quarters fit in real nice. And the interior looks great, I really like the tuck'n'roll in the center of the roof.
