Hot Rods Chopped '32 Grill shells and inserts

Last year or maybe more recently I saw someone was selling chopped '32 grill shells and inserts on ebay, but now I need one of course they're impossible to find.
Anyone know where I can get one. Shell needs to be steel.

Ed,I remember seeing them also but all I ever see is chopped glass shells.

Your probably going to have to buy a original or a reproduction shell & insert and chop it yourself. HRP

 

Speedway motors sell a glass 4 1/2 chop and a grill to fit it.

Not to steel the thread approximately haw much do you chop for a 32 shell on a model A.

 

there's an original chopped steel grille and insert on ebay right now...it's up to $305

 

I saw the one on eBay but it's a bit too ratty. My last resort plan is to buy a chopped insert from Speedway or THX and then chop a shell to match.
Just would prefer it already done if possible.

They come up fairly often if you're not in a hurry.and they go way cheaper than the unchopped originals
