Well I have to say Kenny ( The Chopper ) Baker is the best. I took my 34 out to Kenny on August 18 sunday. Dropped it off. On monday moring he started on it. That afternoon he had it tacked on. I would have stayed around and BSed with him but he wouldn't get anything done. So each day I stayed a few hours. I have never seen anyone weld up a hole car with NO shield, but he did. If your ever in the area of Elmer,MO stop in and say hi to Kenny. He don't get many customers to his shop most vehicles are brought in on trailers and dropped off. I think Kenny is the Mayor. On thursday he had it all welded up and ground down. Even chopping the garnish moldings. Friday came and he put a skim coat on it and worked his magic. The car was done just before 12.00 on friday and we loaded it up. And I left for home Frederick,MD.

How many shops chop a car in 4 and 1/2 days. Most are weeks or months.

Kenny you certantly do Great work Thanks Dan

Got home saturday morning and took the car to it first cruizin, saturday nite, something I do with all my builds. Before and after...

Some progress I've made by removing the rear deck lid Found the trunk lid had no holes in it neither for a rumble seat or a regular trunk. And it was the original skin

Can't believe the paragraph I wrote didn't show up with the pictures. Anyhow finally got the motor cranked and the engines broke in. Now I have to figure out how am going to run the exhaust running it on the 34 is a pain in The ass with the brake pedal right below the floor.

Well it's been a while since I posted on here for the 34 but in the meantime I've gotten a 37 Chevy gasser. It's an original 60s 70s California car. Has lots of history with the car ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1416629546.825402.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1416629608.278708.jpg
