Dad was a mechanics and got me hooked on this stuff. Picked up the 46 Chevy Fleetmaster hotrod in 2001 when I was stationed in Texas. Idle hands are the devil's playground, so I thought I needed a car project. The 46 really caught my eye. I really like the curves of the older cars, and that era in particular has the remnants of the art deco era. The engineering was built with commons sense, finesse, and character that many modern cars lack. I took a bit if a hiatus on the 46 as I worked through grad school. I have worked on a few other car projects here and there-but nothing topically relevant to this forum. I am here to learn from others and share some of my own leanings.
