Technical 4 speed in a Model A

    I have a 29 model A glass car with a recessed firewall it has a SBC with A turbo 350,I purchased a t-10 from a 63 vette I want to put in there.Where can I get the pedals and brackets to put this in the car.Any Information would be helpful. Thanks

    Not a lot of room in an A frame. I took out a 4 speed and went with the T5 because i couldn't get the shifter in. And the fact that i get OD.

    Nice set-up madmak, I think that is what I would do. The 4 speed may necessitate some crossmember modification.
    Of course try to mock up the 4 speed first.

    Another option is a set of hanging pedals with the early M/C on the firewall. I've always liked that look on a traditional car plus it frees up pedal space as it can get pretty tight when they come thru the floor.

    I built my own many years ago. It's all mechanical linkage and works well. However, as Chopsaw said above, if you can buy a quality set up, it is worth the time and effort you'll expend making your own.

    The recess firewall doesn't look like it gives room for another master.With this engine (very mild) I was going to try a stock bellhousing,with the other engine I have a scattershield.
