Folks Of Interest Anyone interested in a Houston HAMBer's Meet?

  1. I saw on FB the driver got some stitches, cuts, abrasions, sternum ( I think) etc. I think he's more in pain over his car than anything.

that happened right as I was leaving, so I went south on Beall instead, but from the exit I could see the car sideways. Was it just the Anglia?

Who's going to Conroe swapmeet this weekend? I'm going on Saturday to take a look around. I normally go on Friday but we have too much going on at work to take the day off.

How does this one compare to the Humble swamp meet? I'm completely swamped friday and saturday, but thought about making the trip up early Sunday.

Four times the size and better quality. There is a Spring and Fall one, not to be missed.

Can catch some good buys on the Friday. One year I bought a new Chrome tilt steering column for $25 and a new Hurst shifter off of the same guy for $15. Wish I had bought the set of F1 fenders he had for $50 as someone else did and flipped them same day for $250.

I normally take the day off work on the Friday but this year I'm scheduled to do some big I.T moves.

I have never been on a Sunday. I expect the prices would be cheaper.

I looked at those. Curious to know if the 255 tires will fit the rear. Most things Ive read say 235 is the widest that will fit but I don't know if they are just talking about the front or if they mean all 4 corners. Also I think those are radial tires. I remember looking at the size on one of them and it was 255 and it had an R in there.

At the School? School Property, this mean NO Bloody Mary's and no smoking, as you know, there is no smoking in school. Hope to see you there, Bob and I are going, hope to see Fred there too.

Looks like it may be a weeee bit chilly tomorrow morning... Who's gonna brave the temps and make it out to Manvel?

  30. Oilslicktg and I are planning on getting there about 8:30 or so. Thought we might stop by your place on the way out and see your shop. Fred said it was pretty cool.
