Couple of shots of the body being finished by hellcat666 here on HAMB.

Bob has started receiving suspension parts in black.

Many thanks go to Mike at 1954design.com for preparing an awesome shifter knob. The coin goes to the engraver tomorrow and then the Gentleman's Coupe skull design replaces Queen Victoria.

The bull nose? blasted for a little more engraving...

Finished parts continue to arrive. Gauges today courtesy of Bob's Speedometer.

Excellent work, rebuilt all internals on the full set, 12v conversion, switched petrol gauge to a new universal sender unit but kept face intact. Removed a bubble from the temp gauge (red liquid type).

Speedo got all new numbers and all gauges refaced.

Frame and a myriad of parts in paint and looking gorgeous!

I am slightly concerned about the missing 4th wheel as Bob was rambling about breaking new ground in the hot rod world with a chopped Reliant Robin. His workload is getting to him.

Apologies for the first two shots, something happened and they got switched to black/white. I suspect this might happen on other shots over the next month or so where body color items are shown. Most odd...

Paint finish is flawless and Ben Hilton (the dog) approves.

    Assembly starts soon...

Tease. Black & White error in pic download?Really? where's paint reveal?

  11. Maybe this is all a mind trip. Maybe the coupe is actually going to be black and white and he's just throwing us off the trail? :D

It is the damnedest thing. Every time I point the camera at something in body color it comes out black and white?!

No...sorry guys, holding back until we have a complete car.

3WLarry nailed it, gonna be fuscia. Had hoped to keep it on the down low. The yellow engine block and lime green wheels should really pop.

Tony Lombardi (GOATROPER02) over at Ross Racing Engine is hard at work. This is what I love about those guys, they don't just rebuild, they re-engineer to ensure durability on some of the older engines. The old design rods in the '55 322 are a little shaky, clamp style. So, switch in some new pieces...

Engine will be able to be driven hard for MANY miles. rods.png

How'd those lake pipe headers get done? Custom? Kit? U-weld-it? Any baffles/caps/or turn outs planned on pipes?

wex65 funny what these new fangle digital cameras screw up. As you saw in my postings, my camera has the same problem. If you find the cause and cure, let us know.

Will be looking forward to seeing colour shots when problem is resolved.

    Great build.

    Thanks HRP.

Shifter and bull nose arrive back from the engraver in a week or so. Bull nose then goes to chrome and from there to get some enamel...gonna be tight but should be complete in time. Shifter will be complete once I receive it back. I will throw up a shot of it once received.

Some of the chrome work (waterfall, ashtray, horn ring etc) should be back with me mid December from ChromePlateJosh.

hellcat666 here on HAMB has been hard at it ensuring super straight lines.

    Next stop...color!

More progress. Got the leather selected today, from Relicate Leather. A nice distressed leather.

The SP tops came back from polishing BUT these are the diecast repros I was originally going with and so I will be moving them on to a new home. They look flawless. The originals are with the polisher now and I am sure will look equally perfect. Tony over at Ross Racing Engines works with a GREAT metal polisher who works on Ridler contenders. Not THE cheapest guys out there but boy does he do good work.

The engraving work is complete on the bull nose and shifter.

Saw the frame again this afternoon, assembly about to start.
