I know the m/t catolog i have from '63 offers a 4" stroke crank for a SBC, but i cant see how it'd fit since 383 chevys have issues with cam clearance. Will it fit in one of those blocks, i'm wondering? or were they only sold to guys planning OHC motors?

Ellis Manifold "Synchro-Gizz" for tuning vacuum signals on multi-carb setups with small throat 1 & 2 barrel carbs (Stromberg, etc). Never seen another besides this one.

"Sandcast" Holley Dominator carb as used by early NASCAR and Pro Stock teams. This is the first type of Dominator that Holley was experimenting with before they ever went into mass production. This is the standard 4500 model with the same bolt pattern as modern Dominators. There was also a 4600 model that was even larger for use in IR (Individual Runner) applications: flowed over 2000 cfm and had a larger bolt pattern. Note the squirter is actually cast into the main body. Restrictors have been installed underneath the butterflies to reduce cfm. Boosters are actually installed by hand and peened in place.

NOS Saaty "Meteor Fuel Injector". A cool looking early attempt at a carb boasting gains in fuel economy. This carb is in the original box and still has the original paperwork and stickers too. Wish I had 5 more to stick on an Edelbrock 6x2 crossram.

Early Edmunds 312 Ford Y-Block 3x2 setup with Stromberg 97's. I've seen several 2x4s but hardly ever come across a 3x2.

2 different SB Chevy tri-drive timing cover setups. One is by Automotive Racing Components, the other is a one-off by Richard Lyeth who used to road race a Ferrari 375 MM Pinin Farina Spyder with a SB Chevy. The motor used a tri-drive just like this as well as a custom blower that looked similar to a modern Camden with side-draft carbs.

And my last bit of unobtanium porn for the evening, an NOS Briar MacKay experimental "Floatless Weber" intake. Looks like an early Crower injector base with a hollow fuel cooler in the middle and custom risers added on top which mimic a Weber 48 IDA carb. Basically its like having 4 carbs connected by 2 common shafts with butterflies just like any other injector. The fuel passages, fuel/idle mixture screws, jets/jet holders, etc would all be just like a Weber 48 IDA carb. However, there would be no float bowl so it would be a constant flow just like an injector. I guess you could say it's a hybrid between an injector and a carburetor. Either way, I still love it!

This is so F-ing awesome, that it makes me hold my breath til I becomes dizzy. While reading with open mouth.

Bosch injection with the Diesel style pumpe is freaking awesome! So much I wish to know more. And steal a copy of your pictures

That cross ram with the IR and the Alfa style flanges that needs rubber insolatores, that spaces the carbs outwards, and adapts to Weber/dellorto bolt pattern. Cool beond belive!

Those unfinished hemi heads, are they missing spark plug holes, or em I getting blind. If thats the case, I blame, because I feel like molesting my self when seeing this awesome collection!

And then Dugans, so awesome! Lost for words.

Did you give up your first born, your man parts or something ever worth to become the owner of that lot!!

The spark plug holes actually haven't been drilled yet. The Hemi heads are partially machined. As for the timed Bosch injection, I actually have a second set up I am building thats for a small block Chevy. Same concept but uses a modified Hilborn injection manifold. This is an old photo I found online of a complete set up to give you an idea of what it looks like.

I know of simalar set-up on Mercedes (6cyl) and BMW (4cyl). And then as a Diesel set up. But it looks SO awesome in the Valley of a V8.
I most confess that when I here 350 SBC I loose a little of my drive, but 265/283/301/307/327
Makes me all giddy, and warm inside.

What block/size are you working on?

But that set-up makes my pants fit all funny. Regartless of engine its sits on.
Those dugan heads, what induction set-up are they meant for?

The Duggan heads have a Weber 48 IDA bolt pattern. The heads can either have Weber carbs bolted directly to them or use Duggan made stack injectors or 4 barrel intake.

Is there anything to gain in bolting it carbs directly to the head? Excepept for short runners, that interms gives a better low end power band, but can it be to short?

The runner length on the heads isn't really much different than if the carbs were bolted to a standard Weber intake because they stick up so tall.

Yes Bowie, there are more parts still to come. Been busy at work so haven't had much time over the past few days to photograph them. Hopefully in the next day or 2 I should get some free time to dig more stuff out.

Yeah, that Danekas super blower sure is a pig alright. Despite it being all magnesium, it still felt like my arms were going to fall off trying to heft it onto the shelf.
