  1. The steelies are killer!!! Did you paint the script? Tim

  2. Got some bumpers and lights for the '62 Fury from Modelhaus. Modelhaus used the Jo-Han kit for their masters but with some hacking on the rear panel and radiator support they will work. Progress so far:

Still trying to decide if I want to remove the emblems and center trim from the hood and decklid.

Thanx Tim. Glad you like the steel wheels. And yep, I painted the script on the caps. The guy you're lookin for that builds the 1/8th stuff may be on FB in the "Model Cars and Trucks" group. He's got their Banner pic this wk.

  8. Very cool thread. I built many airplane models when I was a little boy, ww2 mainly. My uncle was 2nd in command at the Lajes airbase in the Azores for a few years, and he brought me many models from the aafes bx store. Cool times.

  9. Thanks milol. Really cool stuff.

Actually it was the late Joe Reath that was partnered with Dunn. The car later had a butterscotch and purple paint job and was lettered Dunn and Velasco as evidently Dunn had a falling out with Reath and went to the opposition (and his former partner in the Dunn, Merritt, Velasco Fiat altered).

Just built this 56 ford. Chopped it and dropped it. Built in 1/87 scale.
