  1. Very similar, but definitely a Pontiac and not a Plymouth.

Amazing work. You are a true craftsman. Your earlier posts emphasize the fact that some people should never be allowed be use a welder. I've seen what looks very much like those pathetic attempts at welding in a chicken coop !!!

Tying in the back to the roof. A bit handcuffed because of the previous work and no backside access.

  12. Wow man.....no backside access ?? I would say the previous owner had plenty of backside access. Looks like his thumb was in his ass the whole ownership period. Thank God that little coupe found you huh? Great work sir. That car is going to be cool, come hell or high water. That's for sure.

Sad thing is, I bet the guy is coaching others how to weld someplace on the Internet proliferating the madness

With all the work going on already, it might be just fine to cut yourself an access hole

Thanks man! you're killing it yourself on your project, I look every update

    thanks!

ahahah thats hilarious, you know you're the man.

Thanks man! The transition is ok, but theres some stuff out of my control... well I want it to drive someday, so ill live with some filler on the backwall blend area. the previous hack put some 1x1 tubing right in my way of properly finishing this area.

Sweet project. Hoping to find an old Pontiac Coupe myself some day that needs to be gone over.

Great work. Most would have just walked away from an undertaking such as this. I really admire your talent.

Projects like this will make you brave, "I can't possibly make it any worse, might as well go for it."

    Nicely done! Keep it up.

I have a 32 Pontiac 5 Window in about the same shape, but without all of the bad welding. Will use your pics for fixing my door bottoms, thanks for the thread. What are you doing about all of the rotten wood in the door and the cab? I'm not sure if I want to replicate it and put it back in, or replace with boxed tubing. What did you do for your brown one? Great thread, appreciate the insight. Also, are you using an original Pontiac frame?
