Originally I had run a regular 64-66 mustang radiator for years without a problem, but with the new blower motor I built last winter she wasn't staying as cool as I would have liked. So I ordered the aluminum version thinking it would be a direct bolt in...wrong! Had to fab up so new mounts, also had to move the top radiator hose inlet on both radiators. This pic was when we were making the new mounts. I bought the black radiator paint and sprayed the front black so it looks right with the grill shell. This one definitely does better, also switched the thermostat out for a restrictor plate.

Yes it's mounted pretty low so I could keep the top of the grill at the same height as the top of the cowl, and as you know a channled T cowl is pretty low. The bottom of my radiator tank, my oil pan, and my tranny pan are all about 4" off the ground. Almost 10 years now and so far so good, havent torn anything off yet.;)

T looks much better with the 6.71 on it. Interesting to see how the new radiator works out for you in keeping the blower motor cool.

    Couple pics from today.
[IMG]had a few minutes while waiting for my buddy to show up in his 31.
[IMG]getting ready to head over to a local car show.
[IMG]now headed on a 40 mile trip up the road to a car cruise where you actually get to cruise, instead of sitting around looking at each other. Ran through a little rain on the way home, but cheater slicks seem to do fine.

Fueling up for about a 150 mile trip to a cruise in in STL. [IMG]ended up averaging around 7mpg I guess.
[IMG]made it home safe and sound, no problems out of the ol heap. Gotta drive em!
