Sweet ride. Cant go wrong with black ^^
Know of a guy with a 52 Dodge for sale in Oamaru. stripped back to steel. all chrome redone & has all the other bits he says. from memory he is after $3k. - His old lady wants to park her car in the garage apparently.

If you want I can dig out his details if your interested.

Jealous about the Nailhead - i have been after a 401 for ages. Saw one on trademe but the guy was pretty clueless about it when talking to him. he planed to run it on only 2 of the 6 carbs. know of any others about?

    Alex

A mate just picked up 2 of them in Alex for 200 bucks! Na sorry. Nailhead a rare as to find. Found mine on Facebook in nelson. Was meant to be a 322. When I got it and run the numbers it's a 401 445 wildcat one to!

So is the nailhead installed, or are you still running the flathead? Personally I was hoping for the Aussie Hemi 6 you mentioned... pretty much unheard of on this side of the pond. I just don't see how you will install any of those wide GM motors without a frame clip. One of the cleanest swaps into an early 50's Mopar I've seen aside from the 318/360's was a small block Ford... much narrower at the pinched frame rails.

Yea picked up a nailhead cheap tho. Got a l300 front end to throw in it and a xd 4 link disk rear. Got one of my mates chassis so I'm building that up and whiching the body over on to that. Will make that nailhead fit. Got an adapter on its way to suit chev trans. Only problem I've got now is choosing wheels

I haven't been over to the photoshop thread for a while, maybe post a good side view and get them to try some options. I like the chrome wire wheel look but they are a little pricey. With the skirts you really only need 2 of them though. The discs you have on there aren't bad... maybe something similar with a few more designs on them?
