    [​IMG]the flames on this car are great, the way they have them coming out of the hood side edges, makes sense.

    Unbelievable!! Thanks for posting!! These are some of the most famous cars to ever run Bonneville -- JADO coupe, Tom Cobb (that front-mounted Chev still exists), Kenz & Leslie, Ak Miller, etc, etc....It would be great if these shots do get released, would love to make copies.....

  11. Priceless images. Kodachrome was a fussy film to work with to get the exposures right- then add the bright sandas a factor. The photographer knew his equipment, his subject, and his craft, well. f/8 and be there...

    Outstanding! The cars are unbelievable and the exposures of a finicky film in bright sunlight are perfect!

  19. ..yep, and try to imagine the sounds, the trucks flatty is pumping full throttle the best he can to make the coupe rollin' while the boys are yelling: GO GO GOOOOO!
