Just bought a 60 Falcon that was some one else s Gasser project. They had extended the pitman arm about a foot and was running a stock f100 cast front axle. I removed that and have a tube axle with Econoline ends. Drivers side only has the one mount as does the passenger side. I have spent the last 3 hours searching here and other places looking for a good picture of linkage . Does anyone have clear pitchers of what they are using .

No problems with the drag link hitting the right spring?

Shouldn't be a problem your draglink will be connecting 2 & 3/4 inches in from where the tierod attaches to the steering arm and rotated vertical. Shouldn't even come anywhere close to the spring.

Ok I got these random tie rods with the axle. I think that will work if I flip the axle. I havent had a chance to put wheels on it yet. Think it is too high this way any how,

last picture is center of dust cap with unloaded springs. You can see this way it its the spring way before it will make it up to stock pittman arm.

Has anyone used an early Bronco drop pitman arm on a straight axle build?

It had a drop axle in when I got it. Guess I raise the axle above the springs.
