This adapter mates a FE FORD to a flathead three speed, that's purpose number one, I think Nicson used them as a starting point for V drive bell housing set ups, we had a flatbottom v drive with a Chevy W motor it, on that Cragar made the adapter in that boat, Nicson then built just one plate that bolted to the exit side of Cragar adapters to what ever power plant.. This is probably just going to wind up as a wall hanger, so be it.
