This Deuce is in way better shape than I thought at first sight...the frame, front end, now the body!
Note the oxy-acet rig, takes me back to '54 when I found out what I could do with a nice little Victor torch!
Glad you found it, Hodad...I would say it's deserved.

Well, that should pretty much take care of the naysayers who tossed out the jokes at the beginning of this thread! :D

The word "awesome" is a little over-used these days but it sure fits this one, doesn't it??

Rad. Super cool save. So lets hear from the "it's only good for parts" guys.

  16. Speechless...most people would have just cut parts off of it for other cars.
Don't let anyone ever tell you that you don't have determination and skill.

    Just WOW!

    Never underestimate those Maine-iacs!

I can't stop laughing at all of the negative posts at the beginning of this thread. Jealous I guess.

BUT.... I have to call a very small bs. I think everyone underestimated you all. Not only did you possess the skill to put that thing right---It appears that you had access to a huge stash of parts like the cowl top, drivetrain and nice original seat (among other things). In fact, I am thinking that you had almost an entire Deuce in pieces that happened to be handy (or available) at the same time the car came available.

Having said that.... Words can't express how blown away I am with the progress. Especially after watching the other guy put 2-3 bodies together to make a Deuce coupe over a LONG period of time (years I think)!

    Amazing craftsmanship!

Well, no wonder he can fix it! He has an OA torch and a great big pipe wrench! With all the goodies like that, he SHOULD be able to fix anything!
Man...I bet if I swept up all the Deuce Dust in the corner behind my rust remover wire wheel, he could turn it all right back into a Deuce!
