  1. Night time shots, in the city, are stunning. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Tom. Overall, it looks kinda like a generic car, doesn't it? Something a commercial artist would have illustrated for an ad about real estate, or something?

Tony, I thought the Chrysler grille was a nice touch.

Shamus, I saw your photos of Dave's car that you posted on Dan's thread. I missed the car; That show is getting too big to cover accurately! I know I missed a lot I have seen on here!

I have a hunch it was not there very long. If I had seen it, even amongst all that visual clutter, I would have made a note to revisit it. The show is definitely too big to cover except for someone running around and taking quick snapshots which is not what I am after and I am sure not what Tom is after either. That's why I am glad there are a lot of threads on this to see what I missed even though I was there pretty much the whole time.

In the front view, I thought it was stunning. In the 3/4, it seems more like "anycar". I think I miss the Merc bumper; it has lost a lot of its Merc-ness.

Wow, Tom! What great shots! I was poised to comment on the Sam Foose inspired Ford above, which I missed (post #129), but looking back through the thread, there is nothing I can add! Great job!

Those two 40 Fords are an example of two of the colors in the factory color chart for Fords in 1940. If you don't know what color to paint your hot rod, do yourself a favor, and take a look at that chart. Nice vibrant colors on your pic's, Tom!
