All I got this week auto related. Pencil work from a couple of days ago. Getting to the FAS a little late as usual. BR

That Sinclair station is in my neck of the woods (Elberta, Utah) and I have sketched it several times myself. Very cool! All those old gas station paintings are great.

  20. A new laser cut sign in my "Motel" series. This time all the parts except for the base are cut from colored acrylic. Sign is about about 22" tall.

Didn't know I had a series until I took another look at my Flickr account. Here are a few more that I've done and have probably shown on the FAS at one point or another.

I was at Cruisin the Coast last night standing on the street, watching the cars. I noticed the moon overhead and waited for a good car to pick for a try. This rod came into view and I tried it out. Dont know if you will feel what I did when I took the shot, but here goes. I always like the Friday art postings and hope ya'll dont mind my feeble attempts resized rod pics 002.JPG

Thanks Mark (jigger) and Robber. Steve (spoggie) - I would love to know what events those night images were from. Something to add to my list for whenever I get a chance to return to Australia and go to some of your events.

  25. Another awesome line up of fine artwork!

To most it looks like a mirror that is pinstriped...but it's actually something I put on a customers trunk as an example so he could see what Olympic Blue and a simple design would look like...he loved it so I took a picture so I could re-produce the exact thing but more symmetrical and straighter on the trunk......you can see me taking the picture and his brother's prosthetic leg in the picture...needless to say, it had a super slick black paint job....I thought it was pretty cool 20140506_174850_resized.jpg
