Just fitting pattern window patterns to our 49 shoebox coupe and are pondering the best way to chop and glue the windshield rubbers, super glue or other?? Thanks.

How is the spinner coming along Bryan? Did it turn into a quick tidy up then a 'pretty big job'?!

You got that right. It name was" slime" now it's become "the monster that rose from the bog."Well not really that much bog but one hell of a lot of new panels fabricated and hammer welded. A little lower roof and some sneaky mods. Slowly closing in on final prime and sand. no more major patches or surprise this is rusty too!! The rear quarters were over 4m of hammer welding per side.

There is a glue called EPDM or EDPM for glueing door rubbers .It might be right for your job. I think I have some at work .Otherwise you should be able to get it from BASIS at the swapmeet or Para sell it. Isnt it amazing, you ask the whole world a question and the only answer so far comes from about 5 miles away

years ago we used to use a rubber glue for making O-rings for a special size in tooling, used to get it from a bearing specialist in otahuhu who also sold o-rings and such, used to stick real good, sorry no name for it but there is probably a loctite equivalent,
