  2. It sounds like a few of us are going, there is another post kicking around about setting up a HAMB get together.

I met up with the group in 2012. Do you have a link to that post?

Anywhere on 90 will work. here is the reservation hot line where you can check on open rooms and make reservations. Call them toll free at 888-388-1006.

  10. If I can get out of this foot cast and get the 33 back together, I'm driving down from NC

If you never do, you'll never know....

  12. I think we need a HAMB get together, my suggestion would be on a Friday or Saturday night. and maybe somewhere closer to I10 where the traffic isn't to bad. A BBQ joint or something like that

Any one going to big Mike's thursday night? Is big Mike's still there?

  14. derpr, I think that gig at Big Mike's was set up by someone on HAMB that is no longer active. Last year I went to Big Mike's a few weeks before the Thursday night gig and they (the bar tenders) had no idea about the HAMB get together.

I usually try to hang out in the evenings at Edgewater Mall next to the Raising Canes Chicken place.......good bit of shade around the oak trees............

  16. TANNERGANG, I think I know where that is and I seem to remember the traffic is heavy in that area.

I registered as #5302 on August 20th, so the 31 A-V8 roadster will be there. No sure about the number of cars that are considered traditional in those numbers. The numbers will continue to increase though.

Work is gonna put a damper on it this year for me. Gonna head out Thursday night. Staying at the Palace casino. Great parking. Prolly hit the swap meet on Friday and ocean springs on Saturday.

Just look for the F-1 with the child's car seat!

You don't need to go out to I 10. There are plenty of spots on HWY 90. You just have to drive out of the madness to the other side of Gulfport. Longbeach has some great spots. There's a huge lot at Shaggys, also there is room around the yauht club. Take a vertual trip on Google earth.

  24. Rogueman, I like the suggestion get away from 90. I hate being in a traffic jam with mini-vans and toyotas

  26. ill be there! doubt ill be bringing my truck, but ill be there! there was talk last year of having a campout on the beach during the week but I don't think that was ever confirmed, there was a small HAMB meetup last year and the one before that. I talked to cherrydeuce a week or two ago over the matter. he's the guy that puts on this stuff so I figure as soon as he sees this thread we'll have a game plan

  27. btw ANYBODY that can NEEDS to take hwy-90 over there, its a super cool drive I take it every year now, very classic car friendly road. lots of stuff to look at and anyone coming from the east there's an AWESOME parts yard with a ton of cool stuff. worth the stop for sure.

  28. flaming ace, maybe we can ride over together

  29. Hey everyone, many apologies for the delay in details on a meet-up, I've been through a bunch of changes this year that've sidelined me a bit.
Ok so unless there's someone with an inside track on a better location/time/place we can use we'll do the deal like last year. I got in touch with Big Mikes Speakeasy in Gulfport, it's enough off the beaten path but stiull on hwy90 across from Jones Park right before Hwy 49 on the right.
Big Mike is excited to see the Jalopy's back at his place and Jeff the mixologist said he'll be concocting another Cool Down Hawaiian flavored libation just for participants, priced right and promised to take the heat off...[IMG]
