    Just west of Memphis. Has that section of I40 improved lately. I have been successfully avoiding it for over ten years. Unfortunately, the stretch of I30 just south of Little Rock (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) is part of the only reasonable route to The Lone Star Roundup.

    We are excited to have Lee and his Nomad as well as having Tom with his camera at the Revival. The weather is looking good and the pre-registrations are up. We are busy taking care of last minute details and looking forward to the weekend.

    If I'm driving my 41 Merc , which I'm supposed to be, how the hell did I take that shot?.....Well I developed a nasty rear main leak so I dumped the Merc on the way and hopped in w Brian in The Jewel. I was making a mess of the Merc including my flywheel and clutch disc and everyone behind me so I had to make a call. Dump the car and keep going or turn around and go home. Well, I'm not missin the Revival. The car can wait. Will pull the engine as soon as I return from Baltimore, reseal it and try it again at the end of October for The Jalopyrama. That car is coming to Maryland under its own power. Just installed a Columbia 2 Speed and it was gobbling up the highway before the clutch got soaked. She'll be back. Can't wait to get home to start on her. In the meantime Baltimore or bust
