Event Coverage Bonneville, Part Deux

Anyone gonna make another shot at Bonneville this coming weekend? Heard there was still about 3/4 inch of rain on the salt....................

 

It has been cancelled.

 

Yup, too wet. All done 'till next year.

 

Thats what I heard .We are going to Elko Nev for a Balloon Rally this weekend and were going to run to Wendover but just got word from the book of the face that it has been cancelled .

 

I was packed and ready to load the sidecar and a friend's bike to head out Wed. Saw the news tonight. Oh well. I had figured on losing my 650 gas record this year. I get to keep it one more year now. Gotta find a bright side somewhere.

 

Darn the luck, twas to be my second trip to the salt. Maybe '15!
