Projects 1940 Buick Super Duper Coupe

The plan now is to get it back together and running driving and then do the chop. Good news is since I started this project I picked up a '41 cadillac coupe (same body as this '40 buick) so I've got a spare top in case the first chop goes bad.

 

And if it's going bad:can i have first cachiiiing on rest of that caddybody? From a Carson top lover-he he.... Good work anyway!

Body back on. Need to finish doors and front clip.

 

Doing a 40 pontiac now also, I want mine to sit low in the back like this, any pics of the finished rear, also have 2 Ford 9" housings set up for 69 Chevelle ladder bar/ coil overs want to swap out to bags, whats the best housing width for the chassis. Don't want to clip the front, and chance of bagging the original A arms or welding in a crossmember ?

 

Great work, the progress is coming along nicely. Those Buick coupes always seemed to be an unappreciated car.

 

Nice work! I really like the look of that car lowered. Do you have any pics of the Fr and Rr suspsension setup?
